Swiftevents aims to provide an opportunity for business people to meet other like-minded business people in a safe environment. We do not however perform any type of vetting, character searches or verify any personal information on Swiftevents' participants. In addition, we do not guarantee the standard of service or professionalism offered by any attendees at the events. The onus is on you to verify any information given by other attendees. When making contact with another attendee be as cautious as you would when meeting any person you don't know.
By registering with Swiftevents, you agree that neither Swiftevents nor its associates or employees is liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may arise out of the Swiftevents program. These include, without limitation, damages arising out of communicating with other participants in programs organized by Swiftevents. Such damages include, without limitation, physical damages, bodily injury and or emotional distress and discomfort.
Swiftevents is not liable for any injuries or damages of any kind which result from any goods and services provided by third parties under the Swiftevents name. These include damages and injuries which result from the venues and/or materials that we use for our Swiftevents events. In the unlikely event of such injuries or damages arising you agree not to hold liable Swiftevents nor its associates or employees with respect thereof. In addition, Swiftevents is not liable for any damage, without limitation, which results from using the Swiftevents Web Site. By booking an event with Swiftevents you warrant and represent that you abide by all the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to the terms, please do not register for Swiftevents networking events. Swiftevents is authorized to change its terms and conditions at any time without notice.
For security, when you register with Swiftevents, we require for you to provide us with your full name and company name. For identification purposes your first name and surname and occasionally your company name will be displayed on a name badge during the event. In certain circumstances upon arrival at a Swiftevents networking event you may be required to provide us with proof of identification such as a credit card or a driving license. Please note that Swiftevents will keep confidential all information supplied by you to Swiftevents, and shall use or disclose such information only for the purpose for which such information was collected, or as required by law. Please also refer to our Privacy Statement.
Swiftevents networking events are not to be used as a vehicle to collect email addresses to send unsolicited emails (SPAM) or to distribute post or disseminate any defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful information or material. If Swiftevents believes that an attendee uses their events for such purposes, their membership will be stopped immediately without refund and this may result in legal action.
This web site may contain hyperlinks to web sites operated by companies other than Swiftevents. Swiftevents is not responsible for the contents of such web sites and does not guarantee the standard of service or professionalism offered by these companies.
Swiftevents is entitled to change the price of event tickets without notice or recourse to existing purchasers.
After a booking has been processed, Swiftevents does not give refunds or grant transfers to other events within 72 hours of the event. If you cancel more than 72 hours before an event refunds are subject to a ?6 administration fee per ticket booked. You may transfer to another event free of charge provided you give us more than 72 hours notice. However, if you transfer more than once you will be charged a ?6 administration fee. Persons who do not attend a Swiftevents networking event without notice will not be refunded. We use a deferred payment system, whereby we authorise your funds at the time of booking, but can debit these funds from your account at any time before the event is due. If we then experience difficulties with this authorisation, we'll email and phone you to provide us with alternative payment details. If you fail to get back to us within 18 hours, we may then replace your booking without further notice. In addition, Swiftevents reserves the right to refuse admission or expel, without refund, any person who is offensive and disruptive in the opinion of the organizers. Any such person will not be allowed to further participate in the event from which they are expelled. If we believe that you are in breach of any of our terms and conditions, Swiftevents may terminate your license to attend an event at any time, without explanation, effective upon delivering a verbal or written notice to you. Your right to attend an event is for your own personal use, and you may not authorize others to use your admission.
If an event is cancelled, we will offer you a place on an alternative event or a full refund of any money paid. No other compensation will be considered. We also do not give refunds for a late starting time of our events as a result of no-shows or of other participants arriving late or as a result of any other reason. Very occasionally, for reasons out of our control we may need to change venues. We'll email and phone if neccessary to inform you of such a change. We do not give compensation for a change of venue. In addition, if the contact details you have provided are not correct and we are not able to contact you, we are not liable to give you a refund in case you turn up at the wrong venue.
We aim to provide around 20 'mini-meetings' per event, but this is not guaranteed. However, should you receive less than 10 'mini-meetings' you will be entitled to attend one other event for free. |

However, we do not offer warranties of any kind, expressed, implied, statutory, in any communication with Swiftevents or its associates, or otherwise with respect to the service. Swiftevents does not warrant that your use of our organization will be safe, uninterrupted, always available, error-free or will meet your requirements. On occasion media will make film clips, take pictures or interview participants. By signing up you agree to permit us to use these films or photographs for purposes of marketing and advertising in the future. However, for close-ups and for the privacy of our participants we normally ask you to sign a release form and receive your permission before publication. As a registered participant of a Swiftevents networking event, you are offered an opportunity to gain new business contacts. However, we do not guarantee that these contacts you make will result in business for your organization.
